Preview of this weekends premier matchups

This week features 2 matchups in NJ that can prove that Bergen and Bosco are still at the top of the garden state.

Tonight, Paramus Catholic will face its toughest test yet vs Don Bosco. Even though I do believe Jabrill Peppers will have an impact, it just seems as if it’s going to be the Keyon Washington and Steve Shanley combination to make a difference for the Paladins. With all the focus on Peppers (as I said before) I can’t help but think that Frank Nutile is going to go off tonight. He has progresses throughout the year and I think he will come out and have a great game tonight. There is no doubt that PC is going to give Bosco everything they have. But 2 things stand out to me.
1) I can’t see Toal getting out coached by Partridge. Toal is just too experienced.
2) There is no way that Bosco’s defense is letting up more than 30 points tonight. Bosco has too many players (Muhammad, Gross, Scannell, and Carey) and their defense is too strong to let Peppers take over the game.
I just cannot see Bosco losing tonight (which would break their in-state win streak of 71 games) at home.
My pick: Ironmen 42-24
