November 18:
P.J. Walker, Temple University: Most people expected a blowout when #17 UCF traveled to face Temple (1-8) this weekend, but it took maybe the play of the year and a last minute field goal for UCF to take down the Owls. Freshman quarterback P.J Walker led his team to a near-upset over UCF. Walker took over as the starter in week five and has brought life to the Owls program. The former Elizabeth quarterback continued his impressive freshman season by completing 26 of 44 passes for 382 yards and threw for four touchdowns. Walker, a dual-threat quarterback, added 41 yards and a fifth touchdown on the ground as well. Walker is an athlete that Temple can rely on for performances like the one on Saturday in the future.

Robertson Putting Up Numbers for Nova
John Robertson, Villanova University: The Wildcats shut out Rhode Island 45-0 due to another impressive performance from sophomore quarterback, John Robertson. The Paramus native ran for a career high four touchdowns on just 12 carries for 133 yards on Saturday afternoon. In only two seasons, Robertson has set the career rushing record for a Wildcats quarterback. He has rushed for nearly 2,300 yards on 186 rushes. Robertson was added to the Walter Payton Award Watch List on Nov. 1. The Payton Award is given to the top player in FCS football. He also completed 8 of 11 passes for 179 and one interception vs. URI.
Tanner McEvoy, University of Wisconsin: The redshirt sophomore transfer continues to put the past behind him and has made his way onto the field on defensive. McEvoy was recruited out of Bergen Catholic as a quarterback. He spent a year at South Carolina where he was redshirted and then transferred to Arizona Western College for a year. Since transferring to Wisconsin in late May, McEvoy accepted a role at safety. On Saturday vs. BYU, he made five tackles and picked up his first interception.
Mike Reilly, William & Mary: The junior defensive end from Northern Valley Old Tappan registered two sacks in the Tribe’s 24-10 victory over Delaware on Saturday. Reilly was part of a defense that did not give up a single yard of offense in the second quarter. Reilly also made six tackles to help the Tribe improve to 7-3.
