After soaking in what took place this weekend in northern jersey, there are many unanswered questions.
Joes offense came out flat in the first half and just got by St. Peters. The Green Knights were forced to show off their running game for two reasons. First, St. Peter’s cornerback Tre Bell locked up St. Joseph wide receiver Ricky Jeune. Joes had to see how their their ground game would fair without their #1 back, Jeff Farina who is outfit the year with a broken fibula. The fact that Joes only beat St. Peter’s Prep by 11 has to be somewhat shaky. The Green Knights are at Paramus Catholic this week to take on a more than solid Paladin team. Paramus Catholic definitely bent this weekend when they fell behind to Bosco, but didn’t break. This weeks matchup will Answer how good the Paladins really are. Their schedule was a breeze until last week when they hit the wall vs Bosco.
Stay tuned for more unanswered issues in north jersey football.
Don’t forget, Bergen vs Bosco is less than 2 weeks away … Just saying
