Anthony Paolello made plays all over the field for St. Joe’s during their 27-14 victory over Paramus Catholic on Saturday, Oct. 26 at home. Paolello came up with two big receptions in the first half that combined for 68 yards. Paolello also helped hold Paramus Catholic to 14 points at defensive end. His aggressiveness on both sides of the ball has made him a target for several Division 1 programs.
He currently holds an offer from Albany and has received interest from schools in the Patriot and Ivy League. Paolello camped at Lafayette with teammate Mark Fossati in June.
He has taken visits to Colgate, Albany, UMass, and Villanova. Paolello also mentioned he is talking to UConn as well.
Paolello has made a smart decision by putting his team’s success ahead his own recruiting process. “I’m just trying to go undefeated,” he said.
Paolello said he plans to make his college decision on National Signing Day which falls on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.
