Is Jabrill Peppers on the loose?

Consensus five star Michigan commit Jabrill Peppers made headlines today when he tweeted that he would be taking additional visits after the season. Many thought that this was the first step for Peppers towards decommitting from Michigan.

That led Peppers to issue a statement to ESPN.

I am still 100% committed to the University of Michigan and that is the place where I want to go to college. With the rumors about Coach Hoke possibly not being there I need to make sure that I have options and have seen other places. For the sake of my future I need to make sure I have other options. No need to look into it any further. Go Blue and beat TDS

According to multiple reports, head coach Brady Hoke is not leaving Michigan. Dave Brandon, the athletic director at Michigan, has been said to be a big supporter of Hoke. Therefore, there should be no speculation about his absence.

Prior to committing to Michigan on April 26, Peppers considered Penn State, Ohio State, Stanford, Notre Dame, and Rutgers.
