It was only a matter of time before Lehigh offered St. John Vianney defensive end Justin Gille. Shortly after, he announced his commitment to the Patriot League school.

Image“They were my leader for a while and I was just waiting on them to make an offer. And when they finally did, I was thrilled.” Gille said.

The shore defensive end led his team in sacks past two seasons. Gille said that Lehigh’s academics stood out to him.

“It’s a great football program with great coaches, and the guys on the team are really nice and friendly.” he said.

Gille, a two-way starter, also built a good bond with the coaches at Lehigh throughout his recruiting process.

“I have a great relationship with them and they really care for the players on the team and want the best for them both on and off the field.” he said.
