Player Profile: Juwann Winfree

Dwight Morrow’s Juwan Winfree is everything one would look for in a wide receiver. He is built well at 6’2”, 185 pounds with long arms. Winfree is part of an impressive crew of wide receivers coming from NJ in the class of 2014. He runs a good 40 time at 4.5.  However, college coaches noticed his physicality, more offers came. Schools came flocking towards the Englewood product. First it was the Big East with (Pittsburgh), after that came the ACC (Maryland), next was the Big 10, and finally the SEC. Winfree currently holds offers from a dozen schools including Michigan, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Part of what makes Winfree a good target for schools is that he can play on the other side of the ball too. Michigan and Maryland are recruiting Winfree as a cornerback. I wouldn’t be surprised if Notre Dame and Penn State offer in the near future as well.
